To get fat-soluble vitamins into water-based products or improve their absorption, formulators use delivery technologies — emulsification, microencapsulation, or special water-dispersible forms. These let a fat-soluble vitamin work in a format that isn't oil-based, but they're formulation choices with their own cost and stability implications.
